Curry called Woods’ victory the “greatest comeback story in sports.” It’s certainly in the conversation considering Woods hadn’t won a major in more than a decade.

So, here’s the thing…
The Warriors finished the 2015-16 regular season with the best record in league history (73-9), and Curry became the NBA’s first unanimous MVP. Golden State then infamously blew a 3-1 lead against LeBron James and the Cavs in the 2016 NBA Finals, leading to an entire offseason (and beyond) of 3-1 jokes.
Curry’s “comeback” phrasing was basically a fastball right down the middle of the plate for Twitter users. Cue the Cavs highlights.
