We gave you a choice of six on-air talents who are frequent targets on social media: Smith; his First Take sparring partner Skip Bayless; Sunday NFL Countdown host Chris Berman; baseball analyst Curt Schilling; sports business ace Darren Rovell; and Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden.

One day later, Smith was No. 1 in the the voting while debate partner Bayless is second. Schilling ranks third, Berman fourth and Rovell fifth. 

Gruden is last — proving that no matter how hard sportscasters try, they can’t mess up an NFL game.

Awful Announcing has called First Take the “worst sports show that has ever been made.” But a lot of people are watching, notes the blog. The ESPN2 morning show, operating under the mantra of “Embrace Debate,” just posted its most-watched month ever.
