On Wednesday night, Stephen Curry took after fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson as he powered his club past the Mavericks 128-114 in Oakland, Calif. Curry scored 26 of his game-high 51 points in the third quarter, 12 days after Thompson set an NBA record with 37 third-quarter points.

Curry added the exclamation point Wednesday with this 3-pointer with 53 seconds remaining in the fourth (he finished 10-for-16 from beyond the arc).

Curry ended one point shy of the 52 Thompson scored on his night, and four short of Kyrie Irving’s NBA season-high 55-point outing.

Curry’s flurry helped Golden State erase a 42-25 first-quarter deficit. The Warriors outscored the Mavericks 103-72 over the final three periods.
